Student Of The Year 2 Put On Hold?

Student Of The Year was one the successful movies of 2012. The film starred newcomers Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan playing the lead roles. Its sequel has been doing for quite some time now.

 Ever since Karan had announced the film, names of several star kids such as Boney Kapoor and
Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan has been doing rounds. It was also reported that unlike the first part, the second part will have one male opposite two leading ladies. Tiger Shroff was confirmed as the leading man. Speculations were rife that tiger’s rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani might be one leading lady.

It was also said that Punit might rework on the script. But now rumours are doing rounds that the movie has been put on the backburner. The past few days have seen Karan making announcements about his other projects including Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan and Kesari with Akshay Kumar. Well, only time will tell when Karan starts working on SOTY sequel.
