Suchitra Sen is no more

Veteran actress Suchitra Sen has died of a cardiac arrest. She was 82. The actress was suffering from respiratory issues and took her last breath in Kolkata's Belle Vue Clinic today. In the past few days, her oxygen saturation level had also dipped which led the star to survive on the oxygen support and since then her condition kept on getting more and more critical.

The brave actress was admitted to the hospital on December 23 following a respiratory tract infection and till date she fought hard for her life. Suchitra Sen was married to Dibanath Sen, scion of one of Kolkata's most prominent business families. She is survived by her daughter Moon Moon Sen and grand-daughters Raima Sen and Riya Sen.
