Sukumar To Direct Rajshri’s Next Starring Salman Khan?

Recent reports making the rounds claim that Rajshri Productions' next movie will be helmed by Telugu film director Sukumar. Starring Salman Khan in the lead role, the movie was previously touted to be made under Sooraj R. Barjatya’s direction. However, the Vivah director junked the rumours earlier this year.

“The project will be directed by Sukumar, who is a popular name in the Telugu industry, and it is likely to be a remake of a South film”, a source told Mid-Day. As the film will be helmed by the Tollywood’s action director, who is popular for his racy flicks and success formulae, Rajshri’s next is expected to have some hardcore action sequences.

Another source said, “This will be the first time that Barjatya’s banner will make an actioner. Once things are finalized, they will go ahead with an official announcement”. Reportedly, Sooraj will work only as the producer of the film.

Sooraj and Salman last teamed up in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which featured Sonam Kapoor in the female lead. Desimartini eagerly waits to see the Dabangg actor’s action flair after he flaunted the same in Kick (2014).
