Sunny Leone Is Not Happy With Ram Gopal Varma's Apology On Mentioning Her Name In His Nasty Tweet!

Looks like Ram Gopal Varma’s apology for his controversial tweet on Sunny Leone on March 9 was a wasted effort. The Bollywood actor tweeted a video on her timeline on Thursday asking Indians to change their “mindset”. Though she didn’t take RGV’s name directly, it was evident who the subject of her video was.

In the video, Sunny says: “Change only happens when we have one voice, so let’s choose your words wisely! Peace and love!!”

On March 8, Varma had tweeted to say, “I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.”

And though Sunny replied to it with a smiley, twitterati took RGV head on, hurling some not-so-charitable comments at him for his sexist comment.

In another development, Vishakha Mhambare of Ranragini, an outfit affiliated to Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, filed a complaint with Mapusa police in Goa, demanding that Varma be booked under cyber laws and section 292 of IPC.

The director also got into a war of words with NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad on Twitter on March 9.

Awhad asked Varma to apologise or “face the consequences, we don’t mind taking law in hand (sic).”

To which, the director replied, “If you don’t apologise to threat of taking law into your own hands, will formally register complaint, so let me know. Please note.”

Congress too demanded that the Maharashtra government and State Women’s Commission file an FIR against the filmmaker for his ‘sexist’ remarks.
