Supriya Pathak, who is most popular for playing the role of Hansa Parekh in the sitcom, Khichdi, has been roped in Anupam Sharma directorial venture, ‘UnIndian’. She is likely to play the role of Tannishtha Chatterjee's mother. ‘UnIndian’ will mark the Bollywood debut of former Australian crickter Brett Lee.

The 55-year-old actress verbalizes the story of the film. She says, “It is a simple story without any complications, a slice-of-life film, and I wanted to be a part of it. I met the director for the first time on the set. It didn't feel like it was my first day with them.”

The actress smiles and says, “I think I am a cool mother. I’m more like a friend to my children. They talk to me about everything, including their love life.” Earlier too, the actress was seen playing a mother. She played the vitriolic role of ‘Dhankor’, Leela’s mother, in ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’.
