Sushant Singh Rajput Buys Stake In A Super Boxing League Team

Sushant Singh Rajput has now joined the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta by investing in a sports team. While he has not drifted towards cricket like the others, the actor has bought a stake in Delhi Gladiators, which is a team in the Super Boxing League. Sushant revealed that he has always loved boxing and wanted to be associated to the sport somehow.

Talking about his decision, the actor stated, “I have always loved boxing and have been a big fan of Sylvester Stallone's Rocky series. I couldn't think of a better way to be associated with the sport that I love. I'm really excited about my new venture”. The boxing league also has teams that are co-owned by Suniel Shetty, Randeep Hooda, Rana Daggubati and Sohail Khan.

Sushant also revealed that he hardly sleeps for two to three hours a day which gives him a lot of time to manage his team and his acting career. He acknowledged that there will definitely be a sense of competition between him and his friends (who also own teams) but, that won’t affect their friendship. The boxing league tournament starts today, July 7.
