Sushant Singh Rajput: ‘I used to look at myself and say I am a star’

From small screen to big screen, Sushant Singh Rajput has come a long way. But from the very beginning, he knew what he wanted to be. The Kai Po Che actor always aspired to be a star.

“I love myself. Even when I wanted to be an engineer, I used to look at myself and say I am a star. I was a dancer with Shaimak Davar before I became an actor. I have also done plays, so, I am very comfortable looking at myself on screen. I am very critical about myself. I have a very strong opinion of myself. I am very ambitious and I have set very, very high goals for myself. But the process of reaching my goals is enjoyable”, said the Shuddh Desi Romance actor.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy also believes that success is perishable. He realised it after he owned his dreamed car, Range Rover. “When I came to Mumbai, while doing theatre, I used to roam in an auto and I used to think that this is one car I wanted. I got it, finally. And I was very excited, but only till evening. This just shows that once you get what you want, the magic just fades away, it just goes. It is just the process that has stayed with me”, said the PK actor.
