Sushmita all set for her debut Bengali film

Actor Sushmita Sen, who was last seen on the big screen over four years back in Anees Bazmee’s action comedy, No Problem, is all kicked about her comeback. Considering it’ll also be her debut in a film in her mother tongue, Bengali, the actor is not leaving any stone unturned to perfect her act. For the last few days, the actor was spotted at a Bandra studio dubbing for the film, Nirbak for which she has also been perfecting her Bengali diction. Despite being a Bengali, Sush is not a pro in the language, considering she spent her childhood ­outside West Bengal.

“Sushmita has been taking a keen interest in the film beyond just acting in it and she has been working on making the film perfect. She has been polishing her Bengali to ensure it’s ­perfect for her debut,” says a source close to the unit of the film that is being directed by National Award-winning ­filmmaker Srijit Mukherji.
