Swara Turned Down The Offer To Play SRK’s Mother In Anand L Rai’s Next

Who doesn’t want to work with Shah Rukh Khan? Working Baadshah of Bollywood is in the wishlist of every actress. Actresses of all ages strongly yearn to work with King Khan. And Swara Bhaskar is no exception.

Swara Bhaskar has expressed her strong desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan for the longest time. However, when she got to know that Anand L Rai is making a film with SRK, she burst with excitement. Hearing the news, the 28-yar-old actress immediately approached the director, who has even directed her in critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu.

If reports are to be trusted, the Nil Battey Sannata actress told Rai that she loved the 51-year-old actor and has grown up watching his movies. The talented actress wanted to play SRK’s ladylove and not his sister or daughter. But her dreams of working with King Khan shattered when the director offered her a role of Shah Rukh’s mother. Poor Swara was left with no choice but to turn down the offer.
