Earlier, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj had also directed Maqbool and Omkara which were based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Othello, respectively. Director and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj has earlier scored music for various movies including Maachis, Satya, Chachi 420 and Ishqiya. Apparently, the song Roshe Valle which would be sung by Tabu has also been written by him. Tabu has sung a portion of this song, while shooting for the film in Kashmir. However, Vishal persuaded the actress to sing the entire song for him.

"Vishal was extremely impressed with the way Tabu had rendered the song and decided to not only retain it in the movie but also feature it in the film's album. Vishal and Tabu will meet soon and record Roshe Valle separately for the album," says a source. Haider is supposed to hit theatres on October 2, this year.
