Tanu Weds Manu release date confirmed

So for all those who’ve been waiting to see Kangana and Madhavan reprise their on screen chemistry again, now have a reason to be happy. The makers of sequel to the 2011 hit Tanu Weds Manu, have announced the release date. The film will mark the reunion of the entire crew.

Directed by Anand L. Rai, the film has been scheduled to hit the screens on May 22. The first look of the film is also expected to release today itself. Starring Kangana Ranaut in a double role, the film will continue with a new chapter in the lives of Tanu and Manu. While the film has been into production since last year, it will be a good opportunity for the makers to cash in on the brand.

The film will again be produced by Eros International and will have almost the same crew. The new Haryanvi avatar of Kangana may add some spice to the story. While Anand L. Rai had last directed Raanjhanaa, he would hope to continue his success chart here as well.
