Tanu weds Manu Returns dominates Indian box office with 98 crore

Tanu Weds Manu Returns shows no signs of slowing down even in the second week. The Anand L. Rai directorial has crossed 98 crore at the Indian box office, in a span of 10 days. The flick has brought in 28 crore in the second week.

The collection is mind-boggling and is still creating waves of happiness. It is even the biggest money spinner lately for Eros, which produced it. The flick has also become the highest grossing Hindi film of 2015, leaving behind Neeraj Pandey’s Baby, which had held the record of 95 crore.  With more positive reviews and expanding audience base, one really cannot predict where the number would finally end up.

Another release for the week, Welcome to Karachi, has brought in 5 crore over the weekend. Though, for Jackky Bhagnani it might be a good news, as his previous films could not do well at box office and also as he is receiving accolades for the performance. Ishqedarriyaan was another release that had a weekend of less than 50 lakhs.
