‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ Writer Hopes To Get Shah Rukh Khan For His Script
Director Anand L. Rai has delivered three back to back hits in the form of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. But a major role behind the success of all these films is of Himanshu Sharma, who penned down the stories. He recently bagged the Best Screenplay and Best Dialogues for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ at the 63rd National Film Awards.
According to reports, the writer is hoping that Shah Rukh Khan is roped in for his script which will be used in Anand L. Rai’s next. He revealed, "I am writing something for Anand sir and this script is based in India and then travels to US. I am praying Mr. Shah Rukh Khan comes on board, but that's for him and Anand sir to decide".
Reports suggest that the director has approached SRK and is now waiting for his response. Currently, the Dilwale actor is awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Fan’. Movie buffs would be hoping that the three come together to deliver a stupendous film.
