Team Of Padman To Wrap Up Shooting In May

Akshay Kumar is in Maheshwar, Indore shooting for his upcoming movie Padman, which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead. Padman is a biopic on a small town entrepreneur, Arunachalam Muruganantham, who hails from Tamil Nadu. Arunachalam Muruganantham invented low-cost sanitary napkins especially for poor women so that they can afford them to buy.  

Now the latest we hear that the film’s producer, Twinkle Khanna is upset with the way the shooting of the movie is going on. It is being said that she very annoyed on the cast and crew of the movie because of the delay due to which she has gone into debt. "Twinkle has maintained a dignified silence on the complete failure of her production team, which clearly couldn’t keep the budget in check. Because of that she now owes a sizeable sum of money to the creditors. In fact, the team isn’t happy about Twinkle trying her hands in production either," said a source.

However, Twinkle rubbished all the reports. Now another report said that the shooting of Padman is going as per schedule. "Padman shoot has gone about smoothly with the entire team bonding with each other very well. Twinkle Khanna is very happy with the crew and there is no bitterness between anyone. In fact, we would be wrapping up the film by the first week of May,” a source close to the production house confirmed the news. Padman is helmed by R.Balki and is scheduled to hit the theatres this year.
