WATCH: Raveena Tandon’s Ferocious Avatar In ‘Maatr’ Teaser Is The Dose Of The Day!

“Boys are boys, they make mistakes. We should stop our women from wearing jeans.”This is how Raveena Tandon’s upcoming film Maatr’s teaser opens. After unveiling an intense poster on Thursday evening, the makers of Maatr have teased a 46-second clip which is sure to take you on a spine thrilling excursion. Other than Raveena, Mittal and Divya Jagdale feature in crucial roles.

The teaser continues with the question “Justice or Justify?” and is followed by a series of impactful words like power, money, control, politics, discrimination, inequality, lawlessness, assault, harassment with ‘Injustice’ in bold, which appears at the end. These words emerging along with powerful background music will definitely hit you like a hurricane. Actor Dia Mirza, who stars in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, took to her Twitter handle to share teaser of the film. The post read, “This is looking fierce!”

Talking about the film, Maatr co-producer Anjum Rizvi said,”Raveena’s character is a working woman. Our film has been inspired by incidents which are happening in India today.” Helmed by Ashtar Sayed, ‘Maatr’ is an Indian revenge thriller, script by Michael Pellico. The film which features Alisha Khan, Madhur Mittal, Divya Jagdale, Anurag Arora and Rushad Rana is set to debut on April 21.
