The Air Quality Is Declining In Delhi, We Must Step Up: Dia Mirza

The Deewaanapan actress Dia Mirza hasn’t just been an actress, but a social activist as well. Talking about her association with capital city Delhi at length, the actress had a nostalgic time telling about it. The star even had an opportunity to meet then President KR Narayanan as well.  

“Delhi has clearly more space and there is a certain social and cultural experience that this city provides. Even Mumbai has iconic architecture but doesn’t have a Lodi Garden or numerous cultural centres unlike Delhi. But of late, the sharp difference in the quality of air is much visible here,” said Dia.

She added that as a parent and someone who cares about the environment, it is her duty to do her bit in helping the nature in whatever way possible. Previously, she had participated in public campaign to support Narmada Bachao Andolan and aroused political ire. Dia added that she has never been bothered by political intimidation.
