Theatre was my training ground and education as an actor: Boman Irani

Mumbai - Actor Boman Irani attributes his acting skills to 15 years of theatre. The actor, who has been applauded for his performances in movies such as Munnabhai MBBS and 3 Idiots, says theatre trained and educated him as an actor. "There are several people who have taken acting or drama classes, but I luckily did 15 years of theatre... that was my training ground and education as an actor," Boman said. "I can learn the craft of acting by looking at people, observing them, etc. Every little detail one can learn as an actor is purely by observation. Theatre is the best acting school. I feel, in a way, theatre hones your skills," he added.
