This Actor To Essay Role Of Kapil Dev In Kabir Khan’s Directorial?

Ranveer Singh is the one all-rounder of Bollywood who could pull-off any role. Cast him as a lover, brother, warrior, or anything and he fits in the role with sheer perfection. If reports are anything to go by, the lady-charmer could play a cricketer in his next with Kabir Khan.

While it was earlier reported that Khan was going to make a movie with Singh, the details were kept hidden. Now, gossip mills are churning out rumours that the Baajirao Mastani actor will portray the role of cricketer Kapil Dev in the movie with Khan. Reportedly, the movie is based on 1983 Cricket World Cup where India won the game.

Apparently, no other actor or actress has been approached for any other role of the movie. However, no official confirmation is being made about the same. On a related note, the Gunday actor is currently occupied with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
