This Actress To Play A Cameo In Badrinath Ki Dulhania

The makers of Badrinath Ki Dulhania are all prepped up as the movie is all set to release tomorrow on March 10. The lead pair of the movie, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, never fails to meet audiences’ expectations with their crackling chemistry. While many don’t know that the star cast of the movie does not limit to just Alia and Varun, but actress Gauhar Khan is also in the film.

The Ishaqzaade actress has a cameo appearance in the film. On her role in BKD, Miss Khan said, “When director Shashank Khaitan offered me a cameo in Badri…, I wanted to know why he chose me for just a guest role. But I was convinced when he told me that my character is crucial in shaping Badri’s viewpoint”. Seems like, the actress has got an important role to play in the film.

Other than BKD, the actress will also be seen in Begum Jaan. Talking about Begum Jaan, Gauhar said that the film is very close to her heart. She added, Begum Jaan is close to my heart. One day, I received a text from Vidya (Balan), saying both she and director Srijit Mukherji wanted me to play Rubina. I was so happy that I told them I would even do 10 auditions to land the role”. On a related note, the film is a remake of Bengali film titled Rajkahini.
