This Bollywood Diva Is The Newest Global Goodwill Ambassador Of UNICEF

Our Desi girl Priyanka Chopra has been appointed as newest global Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF. Yes, you read it right. It’s none other than the Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra. David Beckham had introduced her to UNICEF global family and now it looks like she will be joining him along with Orlando Bloom and Jackie Chan.

Priyanka Chopra over excitedly took to her Instagram account and shared a picture from the event with David Beckham and Millie Bobby Brown, captioned “Thank you @davidbeckham and @milliebobby_brown for inducting me into the @UNICEF global family. Always delighted to meet likeminded people who believe that there is humanity left in us after all. And @milliebobby_brown you were a superb host tonight… congratulations on the #GoldenGlobes nod #foreverychild”.

Priyanka Chopra has also served as a UNICEF national ambassador in India. In her statement, she said, “My involvement with UNICEF began almost 10 years ago in India. Today, I stand here humbled, enriched and committed, because of it. Thank you, UNICEF, for the amazing journey so far as well as this huge honour”, the Baywatch actress added.

On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in her Hollywood debut film ‘Baywatch’ opposite Dwayne Johnson. ‘Baywatch’ is slated release next year on May 26. Desimartini extends their heartiest congratulations to the actress for her yet another success at the global level.
