It is a known fact that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been approached to reprise Nargis Dutt’s role in the remake of the classic movie Raat aur Din. In the 1969 film Nargis essayed the role of a woman with a split personality. She was even facilitated with National Film Award in the Best Actress category.

The former Miss World will play double role in the flick. And the blue-eyed beauty has asked for a whopping 10 crore to star in the remake. As per reports, since the actress will be seen in a double role in the film, therefore she will have to undergo an extensive preparation. The report also stated that the makers have agreed to the amount.

The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Hai actress has wrapped up her parts in Fanne Khan and will soon start working for the film. While the original film was directed by Satyen Bose, the remake will be directed by Siddharth Anand. Fanne Khan will mark Ash’s reunion with Anil Kapoor after 18 years. They both last worked together in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai in 2000.
