This Is How Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2 Got A U/A certification

Vidyut Jammwal’s action film, Commando 2 has finally got a UA certificate but on one condition. The makers were told to chop off a lengthy action sequence of the film and then only the film was granted certification. The reason given by the Central Board Of Film Certification was that the film should be children friendly, whic is why some sequences had to be removed.

Producer Vipul Shah agrees that it is fair enough to remove such sequences. He says, “The action in my film is neither gruesome nor bloody. I am glad the Board saw this.” However, Vipul was never held by the Censor Board or its chairperson in his career. He says, “I realise they are just doing their job. Pahlaj Nihalani is not the first chairperson to be doing his job. With him at the helm, I’ve had no problems whatsoever. It may be fashionable to attack him. But I’ve no contribution to make to this trend.”

Action film fans’, you would definitely not want to miss this one because Commando 2 boasts of best Stunts that Bollywood has ever seen. In the past, a lot of filmmakers have gone through the stage where they had to face the CBFC for getting a certification for their film. Commando 2 was released today; let’s hope that it keeps their fans’ spirits alive.
