This Is The Highest Grossing Hindi Film Of The Year, 2017

Once again the Golmaal franchise has proved that sequels are the trend nowadays. Beating all the films released this year with Rs 143.33 crore under its belt, Golmaal Again has bagged the first spot at the box office. The film has become the highest grossing Hindi film of this year.

In just 9 days from its release date, the film has been able to pull in this much amount. Director of the film Rohit Shetty had said, “I want this team with me whenever I make a Golmaal outing. There will be many [installments]. This is our FD [fixed deposit]. We’ll keep it going. I don’t have a plan in mind for the fifth part, and am not even certain of the genre, but, it will be bigger than this one”.

If this film has to be compared to all the hit films of 2017, then Golmaal Again has the second spot as Baahubali 2 is at number one with 500 rupees in its account. Moreover, this film has beaten Varun Dhawan starrer Judwaa 2. Amir Khan Secret Superstar is no lesser, it has also engrossed audience with its strong inspiring content.
