    Actress Sonam Kapoor who is basking in glory of the success of her critically acclaimed Neerja, a biopic on Neerja Bhanot, has said that she doesn’t pay heed to any kind of censorship. She believes that since India is a democratic country, therefore no restrictions should be imposed on anyone when it comes to personal choices. The actress think that every person in India has the right to live the way they want to.

    Speaking about restrictions imposed on women on their fashion choices in the Indian society, the 31-year-old actress said, “I don't believe in censorship. Everybody should have their own choices in whether they want to wear a burkha or a bikini. Same goes with the choice of their religion, the way they want to dress, preference of sexuality, decisions on their education and marriage.”

    Talking about the issue further, Sonam said, “The more you censor someone, there will be more rebellions out there.” Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Veere Di Wedding which is helmed by her sister, Rhea Kapoor. The film will also feature Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar. Besides, the actress has R Balki's Padman opposite Akshay kumar in her kitty.
