Undoubtedly, songs play a vital role in cinema as they make people interested in a movie. It’s not new for films these days to have songs from old school films; ‘Laila O Laila’, ‘Humma Humma’ and ‘Oye Oye’, to name a few. The recreated versions successfully top the charts as they are received very well by the audience of the present generation.

According to recent reports, an upcoming movie is also going to join the list of movies having recreated versions of old songs. Sources reveal that Milan Luthria’s ‘Baadshaho’ will have the retro song ‘Keh Doon Tumhein’ from the movie ‘Deewaar’ (1975). In the old version, Shashi Kapoor is seen wooing Neetu Singh while in the newer one, Emraan Hashmi will be seen singing the popular number for Esha Gupta.

Reportedly, the song was shot during a schedule in Rajasthan. Indeed, old is gold but we’re sure Emraan Hashmi won’t let his fans down with the newer version. Also starring Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra, ‘Baadshaho’ is scheduled for release on September 1.
