Three of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s films to be at Cannes

Seems like Nawazuddin Siddiqui has become a Cannes regular. The 39-year-old actor has yet again made it to the Cannes festival but with three films this time i.e.Moonsoon Shootout, DabbaandBombay Talkies.The films will be under the scanner of Critics at the Cannes festival.

The actor got excited when introduced with this news,"I knew one of my films would make it to the Cannes this year, but had no idea that it would be much more than that." Last year too, Siddiqui made it to Cannes with his two flicksMiss LovelyandGangs of Wasseypur.He shared his experience, "In fact, during an interaction with the French media after the screening of Miss Lovely, the journos asked me, 'We've heard the actor in GOW was superb'. They had no idea that it was me." Nawazuddin feels blessed and says that there's a lot to look forward to. With this year’s Cannas nomination,Siddiqui will become the first actor whose three films have made it to the festival in a year and no one till date has been nominated for five films in just two years.

Currently, the actor is working on these films along with few moreAnwar Ka Ajab Kissa, Mountain Man, PatangandLiar Dice.Nawazuddin debuted withSarfaroshin1999 but restarted withFiraaqin 2009. He has till date won Screen Awards, Stardust Awards and few more.
