Tiger Was A Pleasant Surprise: Nathan Jones

Mad Max: Fury Road actor Nathan Jones is ready for his debut in Bollywood. Nathan will play the baddie in the upcoming film A Flying Jatt that features Tiger Shroff playing a superhero. Nathan cannot stop praising Tiger for his commitment to the role of a superhero. “Tiger was a pleasant surprise. He is dedicated and disciplined. I was amazed how the boy never used a stunt double,” he told the news daily. He also compared action to dance and said, “He was like my dance partner. There is not much difference between dance and action. Just like how you choreograph a dance piece, in action as well, you choreograph the stunts depending on the strengths and weakness of the people involved.”

Nathan also talked about how he bonded with the Tiger Shroff on the sets, “Tiger and I have an impeccable chemistry and a great sense of timing. I am a dinosaur in front of him.He is a race car and I am a truck (laughs). He is athletic and fast, I am strong and big. So when I punch him, he ducks. And then he comes from behind and catches me off guard. My weaknesses are his strengths and that is what made working with him so much fun. The fact that we are opposites make us bond. We are David and Goliath together and we’ve tried our best to give the audience what they want to see.”

Earlier Shroff also revealed that he didn’t take any inspiration from superheroes in the West, he just paid close attention to how Hrithik Roshan portrayed the character of Krrish, “I didn’t take any inspiration from anywhere, because Remo sir was very clear in his mind. He wanted an original superhero, so I didn’t take any inspiration, though I did watch ‘Krrish’ many times. I just wanted to study Hrithik sir’s body language when he is running, or how he stands in the costume,” he said. A Flying Jatt is scheduled to release Aug. 25.
