Tigmanshu Dhulia and Irrfan Khan join hands for Bade Bhaisaahb

-- Actor Irrfan Khan and Tigmanshu Dhulia were supposed to come together for Yaara. However, things didn’t go as planned as the young actors, Vidyut Jammwal and Amit Sadh, would now be playing the older parts too. Hence, Tigmanshu has decided to collaborate with Irrfan for another film titled Bade Bhaisaahbwhich will go on the floors next year.

A source close to the unit says, "Unlike most of Tigmanshu's films, this one will not be set in the Northern hinterland but in Mumbai. It's an urban social-drama which Tigmanshu has been working on for a while now."

 Tigmanshu confirms, "Yes, it has a unique character for Irrfan. He plays a common man who wants to make a difference to society and be remembered. It also explores the theme of urban angst amongst the contemporary youth.” The director further reveals, "Irrfan is a dear friend, we didn't have a fight over Yaara. Earlier, the characters essayed by Vidyut and Amit were to age into their late 70s but the script changed and we felt it'd be best if they played their older selves too."

Actor Irrfan Khan and Tigmanshu Dhulia had earlier rolled out critically acclaimed films like Paan Singh Tomar and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. Hence, it will be interesting to see another venture from the hit pair.
