Tigmanshu Dhulia Talks About ‘Raag Desh’ Title Song ‘Tujhe Namame’

The trailer for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Raag Desh’ was released at the end of last month and since then, it has been garnering a lot of praise. Recently, the film’s title track, ‘Tujhe Namami’ was launched by the team and with it, the director wanted to explain the birth of a nation. The film stars Kunal Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and Amit Sadh.

“In keeping with the film's title, we wanted a song that can explain the birth of a nation. This song is like a prayer of the nation. In Indian classical music, there is Desh Raag and this song is based on that raag”, Tigmanshu explained.

‘Tujhe Namami’ has been composed by Rana Mazumder, who said that the thought of thanking the motherland was behind the idea of the prayer song. They wanted to make the song timeless. Produced by Gurdeep Singh Sappal, ‘Raag Desh’ will hit the screens on July 28.
