Trailer of ‘Manjhi-The Mountain Man’ Out

The trailer of 'Manjhi-The Mountain Man' starring versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte was released on July 13. The upcoming biopic is based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi, an extraordinary man from Bihar, who carved a path through a mountain with only a hammer and chisel so that the people of his village could have easy access to the nearby hospital. The movie is made under the direction of Ketan Mehta.

The director said at the trailer launch of the film, "There was this poor man in Bihar who made something very impossible possible for love. I went to that place and when I saw the mountain I was thrilled to see that someone would have made a road out of it. It was an inspirational story".

Actress Radhika Apte said she was drawn to this film and found its story incredible and inspiring. However, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the lead, we wonder how much footfalls the movie will get. The film is set to hit theatres on August 21 this year.
