Dill Mill Gayye Actor, Amit Tandon's Estranged Wife Held Up In Dubai Jail Since A Month!

Television actor Amit Tandon’s wife, Ruby, is jailed in Dubai. Ruby is a dermatologist in Mumbai who was reportedly arrested about a month ago for threatening government officials in UAE.

Amit, who rose to fame for participating in Indian Idol and is now seen in Colors’ show Kasam, confirmed the news to Indian Express. “Yes, she is still there and we are trying our best to get her out soon. I will be flying to Dubai next week to once again plead for her innocence,” he said.

He added, “We are really saddened by this as we believe that Ruby has been framed. She has been doing a wonderful job and someone levelled false accusation at her which caused the trouble. We believe in the judicial authorities and are hopeful that she will be back home soon.”

The couple was married for 10 years and have a seven-year-old daughter together. They are now separated.

“I am very saddened by the developments that such a hardworking and caring woman who did her best to treat the rich, poor, and disabled to the best of her abilities and genuinely make a positive change has been put through this. Some very influential people or competitors who could not stand to see her succeed, as Dr. Ruby had begun treatments on not only Bollywood but even Hollywood celebrities, levelled false accusations against her due to which the poor girl has been held in remand for almost a month. I always want to believe in the due process of law, but sadly this time Ruby is at the receiving end of it. We still hold faith that the judicial authorities will realise that she is 100 per cent innocent and let her come back to her work and most importantly to her daughter who misses her every day (sic), “ Amit told Spotboye.com.

Television actors Mouni Roy, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Iqbal Khan and director Vikram Bhatt were reportedly Ruby’s clients. She was on a trip to Dubai last month when she was arrested for misbehaving with DHA (Dubai Health Authorities).
