Uday Chopras YRF Entertainment is planning big things

Though his acting career didnt take off well in Bollywood so far, YRF Entertainments CEO Uday Chopra is going places these days. The actor is all set to produce English films with Hollywood actors and has also launched a new series of comics called Yomics featuring famous characters from Yash Raj films like Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom and Hum Tum. Uday has reportedly decided to sign Canadian actor Michael Cera and American singer-actor Taylor Swift in the English remake of YRFs super-hit comic-con -- Bunty Aur Babli. Announcing this Uday said, "I am also remaking Bunty Aur Babli in English. It's in the scripting stage and the casting is not done. I am looking at Michael Cera and Tailor Swift. I haven't approached them as yet, but I want to make it a little more quirky and comic than the Indian one". The star said that YRF Entertainment will make films in the US with international cast and crew. "The idea is not to take Indian actors there. The idea is to think of ourselves as an American company. Writers, directors everyone will be from there. I don't want them to feel that I am taking India to Hollywood. If a story requires an Indian character or if A R Rahman agrees to do my music, I will like it," he said. Informing about his latest venture Yomics, Uday said, "I was always into comics, right from my childhood. In fact, I was going to launch a comic book on my character Ali from the movie Dhoom. But it didnt work out at that time." Talking about the unique comic hero from Yomics, Daya Prochu, he said, "Re-arrange the letters and it's actually my name. Yes, Prochu is very close to my heart. He is my alter-ego actually."
