Ungli motion poster unveiled: Kangana to sizzle in KJo’s next

From the glamorous role of a high-class model to a simple middle class girl from Rajouri Garden, Kangana Ranaut has done it all to prove her versatility. The award-winning actress has established a successful career in Bollywood with various commercially successful movies and a few critically acclaimed films and now, the starlet is back with an edgy, vigilante drama-Ungli.

Also starring Emraan Hashmi, Sanjay Dutt, Randeep Hooda, Neha Dhupia and Neil Bhoopalam, the movie was expected to release in May, but was later postponed to avoid clash with Tiger Shroff’s debut movie Heropanti. The film found itself in the middle of controversies last year, but now sources have revealed that the comedy-drama flick will finally be releasing on November 28, 2014.

While Emraan Hashmi’s last release Raja Natwarlal couldn’t do well in the box-office, Kangana is basking in the success of her back-to-back single star hits with Queen and Revolver Rani.

Talking about his film, writer and director Rensil D'Silva says, "Ungli is a story about friendship and it’s a very character driven film. It’s about what happens when a gang of friends decide to take justice into their own hands.” Producer Karan Johar adds, “Ungli is new territory for us. It is Dharma's first film with Emraan and has a very different plot from the kind of subjects we have explored in the past. Rensil D'Silva has put his heart and soul into this one.”
