Varun Dhawan Rejects Rohit Shetty’s Ram Lakhan?

The remake of the cult classic, Ram Lakhan, which starred Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff has been on cards since a year. It seems that the Rohit Shetty project has hit a roadblock now. Rumour has it that Varun Dhawan was approached to reprise Anil Kapoor’s role but he rejected the proposal.

Grapevine further suggests that Varun opted out of the project as he wants his hands on single-lead films now. Perhaps, Varun isn’t happy the way Dilwale has turned out. Further, rumours are also rife that Varun is upset on how his role in Dilwale was side kicked.

Rumours were also abuzz that Ranveer Singh was also approached for the role but he also bowed out of the flick. Meanwhile, Rohit has stalled the project for a while. The filmmaker has now decided to concentrate on sequels of Golmaal and Singham.
