Varun Dhawan Says There Is No Better Role Model Than Captain America

Few days back it was reported that Varun Dhawan will be dubbing for the Hindi version of Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’. The actor will be lending his voice to Captain America, played by Chris Evans. During a promotional event for the film, he revealed that he likes the superhero because he is typically old school.

The Badlapur actor said that there is no better role model than Captain America for today’s kids. He said, “I like him because he has that culture, which we call old school.. it’s important that we take it forward. So I think that for today’s kids and youth there is no better role model than him, who sticks on to his culture and beliefs from the past”.

He added that the character played by Chris Evans in the superhero film is quite mature and sober. Varun said he is not like that way at all in real life and that is why it was difficult to put himself in the shoes of Steve Rogers aka Captain America.  He further told that Chris Evans watched the Hindi trailer of the film and appreciated the actor for honestly portraying the character.
