A very special Happy Birthday for megastar Amitabh Bachchan as granddaughter Aaradhya wishes

It’s a surprising birthday for Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan indeed, as he turns 71 today. It was a lovely beginning of the big day for Senior Bachchan as his two-year-old granddaughter Aaradhya wished him Happy Birthday by singing a song.

Big B blogged that Aaradhya, daughter of his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, sang 'Happy Birthday daadu’ early in the morning.A proud grandfather, Big B, wrote in his blog this morning,"the 'little one' ably tutored sings a 'happy birthday' to herself first and then after suitable prompting, to me … its these little moments that make up a birthday... the bigger moments follow." Amitabh was an intense tall dark handsome man who ventured into Bollywood in the 70s. He was a big failure in his initial days and then gradually he shot to stardom as a rising star. He is a man who has enacted almost every kind of character, be it a simple village guy in Saudagar or a cop in Zanjeer, a serious doctor in Anand and a child suffering from progeria in Paa. He has been an actor, producer, playback singer, television presenter and a movie narrator too. His list of films includes some big names like Sholay, Namak Haram, Chupke Chupke, Deewar, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Don, Silsila, Agneepath, Mohabbatein, Aks, Black, The Last Lear and Hollywood movie The Great Gatsby, to mention quite a few.

Amitabh has been showered with lots of love, respect and birthday wishes since today morning and he has thanked all his fans and well-wishers through his blog. He wrote, ".. the gifts of love and affection from the Ef, from those that we know and cannot see or meet, from people on the streets as you pass by, from the crew on the set, from those that have lived and worked with me through the ages .. It cannot be any better than the presence of the heavens about me .. my well wishers .. they go through so much personal effort to prepare that personalised card that touch of handicraft, a little something, so thoughtfully put together … the most expensive diamond in the world would not compare with this .. and I thank the english language for constructing this expression of 'thank you' or my own tongue in the gentleness of a 'anek anek dhanyavaad'." Big B has also shared his feelings when he thinks that time is passing by too quickly for him. He has written, "It is 71 now … just last year or just the other day it was 70 ! The years seem to pass by faster now than they did before. There was a desire to push the pedal all along those early years , to mature, to become adult, to bring on greater age … now you depress the brakes pedal with equal effort, and hope to stem the slide as it were .. no not I, I accept the years the giving up on time, on age … it shall happen to us all .. that is the commonality of the process of life .. we are blessed, all of us …!!" Amitabh thanked everyone around him for their immense support throughout his life, "I embrace your being .. cling to it as close to my heart as possible .. its tepid warmth singes me with deep emotion, and my lips move to formation in addressing that one deep utterance ..Thank you !!!" Today on his 71^stbirthday, here we wish Amitabh Bachchan a very Happy Birthday and pray that God may bless him always with good health, happiness, prosperity and more success in his coming days.
