Guess Which Actor Has Been Roped In For Sanjay Dutt Biopic!

Masaan and Raman Raghav 2.0 actor Vicky Kaushal is all set to star in Sanjay Dutt biopic.

Vicky Kaushal, who has had a short but impressive career so far, has been roped in for Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Even though Kaushal is quite new to the industry with just 6 fully fledged movies in his kitty, he has shown his skill as an actor and made known his potential. He was lauded for his role in Raman Raghav 2.0. where he played a drug addicted cop and his titular role in the critically acclaimed Masaan.

Kaushal will be joining Ranbir Kapoor who will portray Sanjay Dutt in the biopic. According to reports, the Manmarziyan actor will play the role of Sanjay’s best friend. It is also being reported that the actor has met Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt to prepare for the role.

Sanjay Dutt was released from prison on February 25 this year. He was convicted in 1993 in relation to the Mumbai serial blasts case and served a 42-month sentence at Pune's Yerwada jail. At that time, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison and had been in and out of jail up-till February. When he was finally released, he met with his old friends including director Rajkumar Hirani, who then came up with the idea of making a biopic.
