Vir Das To Play Pakistani Hacker In His Next

Vir Das, who was recently seen in adult comedy film Mastizaade reportedly wants to play diverse roles on the big screen and doesn’t want to keep himself confined to a specific genre. The actor who will be seen playing a Sikh man caught up in 1984 riots in upcoming film titled ‘31 October’, will play a Pakistani hacker in Ajay Devgn’s dream project ‘Shivaay’. The movie also stars Devgn in the lead role.  

A source told DNA, “This year, Vir wants to experiment with various roles and has five different projects. He plays a Pakistani hacker in Shivaay. It’s a high-action role in parallel to Ajay’s (who plays the title role) and he shot for it for over 25 days in the second schedule of the film in Hyderabad. While people know that Vir had signed Shivaay, nothing was known about his role. It’s a very stylish role and has grey or negative shades. Vir had to learn about computers and hacking for it”.

Vir Das has also confessed that he wants to play different roles. “Yes, I want to play different roles this year and Shivaay is one of them”, he said. As the project is really close to Ajay Devgn, he hasn’t spilled details about it as yet.
