The wait gets longer, Adi-SRK venture not finalised as yet

It looks like we might have to wait much longer than expected for Aditya Chopra to direct Shahrukh Khan in his next. After enough speculations and media reporting about Aditya returning to direct Shah Rukh in his directorial next, YRF has clarified that no such script has come in and that the ‘venture’ is not happening.

The production has confirmed that Aditya hasn’t been writing any script and it is only now that he will begin writing. Lots of ideas and thoughts have gone into it. The casting would follow only after the script is locked which doesn’t look very near in the future. With the kind of rapport SRK and Adi share, it can only be assumed that SRK will lead the cast. The Yash Raj chief has so far only directed three films but all have been super successful. DDLJ in 1995, Mohabbatein in 2000 and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008, every Aditya Chopra movie has had SRK in the lead with romance being in prominence. Let’s now wait what he comes up with, more importantly when!!
