Watch Pankaj Tripathi, Ragini Khanna in Gurgaon teaser

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to share the teaser of Pankaj Tripathi’s next, Gurgaon, and the noir thriller looks quite interesting.

Gurgaon is the directorial debut of National award-winning cinematographer, Shanker Raman (of Frozen and Peepli Live fame). It features Ragini Khanna, Akshay Oberoi and Pankaj Tripathi (of Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 & 2 fame).

Gurgaon is said to be “inspired by true events and showcases a family when their daughter has been kidnapped. While normal parents would be worried about her well-being, Gurgaon shows that the parents are more concerned about why and how the incident happened. Clearly everyone has a lot to hide in this family.

Slated for a pan India release on August 4, The film is produced by JAR Pictures, the makers of award winning and internationally acclaimed films Liar’s Dice, Killa and Nil Battey Sannata.
