WATCH: Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan Trailer Is Breaking The Internet!

These days Indian cinema mostly boasts of provoking films with a pragmatic stroke. Begum Jaan is one such film which is a package of a high-voltage performance in the form of a bold avatar (being played by Vidya Balan) and robust ferocious conversations that will definitely give you goosebumps. Begum Jaan trailer, which was released on March 14 has crossed 20 million views over a week’s span. Vidya Balan took to her Twitter handle and expressed her gratitude to the audience for showing roaring responses towards the trailer. She tweeted, “Shukriya Shukriya!! #BegumJaan ke trailer ko itna pyaar dene ke liye!! 20 Million & counting!!” This is a proof that the trailer is being lauded by both the audience and the critics.   

Vidya has utterly become the talk of the town with her bold performance as a badass Begum. In the trailer, she is seen hurling expletives, holding guns and smoking sheesha in style, the intrepid Vidya Balan is prepped to face any challenge accompanied by her gang of women including Gauahar Khan and Pallavi Sharda amongst others. Begum Jaan is one of the first few movies to underline a subject like the menstrual cycle which is still a complete taboo in the country.
