We Didn't Even Have To Use Auto-Tuner For Him: Sonu Nigam Talks About Sachin Tendulkar Singing Debut

God for all the cricket lovers, Sachin Tendulkar collaborated with singer Sonu Nigam earlier this month for the single Cricket Wali Beat. While we were amazed to see Master Blaster holding mic, the singer said, "I was not surprised to see Sachin sing in the right pitch. We didn't even have to use auto-tuner for him".

The app was recently launched by the Master Blaster. The app would help his followers and fans to know him personally and the same goes with Sachin. Sonu further said that the cricketer was initially shy but was later made comfortable. Sonu said, "Many people listen to music, but can't understand the sur, leave aside singing in front of the microphone, [but that was not the case with Sachin]. He was a little shy upon my arrival at the studio, but I made him Comfortable. Shameer (Tandon, composer of the track) and I helped him through the dub”.

Sachin also shared his feeling at the app launch event. He said, "I never thought I'd venture into singing. Getting the opportunity to sing alongside Sonu was amazing. I have always been fond of music. I never thought I would sing a song. My wife (Anjali) is the brain behind me singing this song. It was her idea. She was the only one who believed I could sing”.
