What! Katrina Kaif To Play Classical Indian Character In Thugs Of Hindostan?

Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan is getting a lot of attention these days. First it was announced that her Dangal daughter Fatima Sana Shaikh will star in the film. Then it was announced that Katrina Kaif has also been roped in as the movie will have two ladies.

The movie received a lot of flak from audience when it was announced that Fatima will romance Mr. Perfectionist. A lot of people tweeted against this jodi as they were seen playing father-daughter in Dangal. However, recently we heard that Khan will not romance Fatima but Kartina who will play a British character, while Shaikh will play a rough and tough character in the movie.

But now we hear something else. According to recent reports, the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress will essay the role of classical Indian. However, the makers of the period drama have not yet confirmed about the film’s plot and the characters played by the actors. Well, it is not surprising as Aamir loves to create a thunderbolt until his movie releases. Whether this is true or false will only be revealed when the movie releases.

Rumours are also doing the rounds that Thugs of Hindostan is inspired by 1975 hit Sholay which was directed by Ramesh Sippy. Meanwhile, Kat is currently shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan in Abu Dhabi. She is also waiting for Jagga Jasoos’s release which will star her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor opposite her.
