What Makes MSG 2 A Must Watch?

What Makes MSG 2 A Must Watch?

As fans gear up to watch MSG 2: The Messenger, here’s a quick look at a few reasons why the film, which features Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, is a must-see.

    Animated suspense:

The film’s edge-of-the-seat suspense, action with VFX and the grand outdoor shoot make it an ideal combination for a successful product at the box office.

Shot in Bhangarh Fort at night:

The Bhangarh Fort is located in Rajasthan, and it’s known to be one of the most haunted places in India. It remains closed after sunset. Folklore has it that those who have visited the fort at night have either disappeared or been killed. MSG decided to bust the myth. He shot a few portions of the film there. “A nearby resort owner jumped in fear when he learnt that the film would be shot in Bhangarh. ‘You will have strange creatures showing up in the background,’ he said. I just laughed it off, and said, ‘Let them show up, they will only cut down the cost of junior artistes and extras’,” says MSG.

    Catchy music:

From ‘Party dhoom dhaam se’ to ‘MSG the messenger’, the film’s music is foot-tapping. ‘Rooh Nashiyaai’ is rich and sensuous. ‘Hasin wadiyon mein’ and ‘Sapnon mein aana tera’ are melodies, while there is also a tribal folksy number, ‘Hulle malle’.

    The rock star look:

In certain portions of the film, the saint had to sport a different hairstyle. The cast and crew believed that he had gone for a haircut to look different. However, the saint told the crew that he had just styled his hair in such a way that it looked like a new haircut. “The film also has a love story,” adds Ajay Dhamija, the spokesperson of Hakikat Entertainment, the production house.

MSG2 — the Messenger, produced by Hakikat Entertainment, releases on September 18, 2015.
