    It is still a big deal in India if a film gets onto earn something big and makes it to the club of 100 crores. Seven years before, the term was unheard of. Now think of a Hollywood prospect climbing up to the top and earning as big as a Hindi release, in fact more. Seems hard to believe, right?

    Well, the latest installment of the Fast and Furious series titled Furious 7 has hit the 100 crore mark after its third weekend in India. Ironically, no Indian film has been able to do that yet this year. The only film that got a little closer to the mark was Akshay Kumar starrer Baby.

    Furious 7, after a stupendous time of theatre run has now earned 104 crores in India and is right at the top. The Vin Deisel starrer has largely been accepted by the audience and got such a massive response. Ironically again, the next film in waiting to put a challenge to its box office figures is also a Hollywood biggie. Avengers: Age of Ultron which is scheduled to hit the screens this Friday is also a much awaited prospect. What’s happening at the Indian ticket counters?
