Megastar Chiranjeevi on Monday landed on the sets of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming bilingual project, much to the surprise of the entire unit. Coincidentally, both Chiranjeevi and Mahesh were shooting in the same compound in Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad where the former was shooting for his show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati. When Chiranjeevi learnt Mahesh was shooting nearby, he decided to pay him a visit. He spent close to an hour on the sets and had a brief chat with Mahesh and director AR Murugadoss.

“Chiranjeevi wanted to know how Mahesh’s film was shaping. Having already worked with Murugadoss in Stalin, he was happy to meet the filmmaker after a long time. Mahesh also congratulated Chiranjeevi on the success of Khaidi No 150, and his successful return to arc lights after a long hiatus,” a source informed HT, and added that the trio had lunch together.

Chiranjeevi replaced Nagarjuna as the show host of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, and he’s currently shooting for the third season. Meanwhile, he is also busy finalising things on his next project with director Surender Reddy. Following the phenomenal success of Khaidi No 150, Chiranjeevi is playing his cards smartly and is not willing to make one wrong move.
