Who is Deepika’s biggest fan?

Actor Deepika Padukone has many fans and one among them is veteran actress Asha Parekh. At a recent award function, she could not stop praising Deepika.

“While Asha Parekh received the life time achievement award, she spoke about how the industry and films are very different in today’s times. When quizzed on whom does she like among the newer crop of actors, she admitted to liking Deepika’s body of work,” says a source.

The source further added, “It is a huge acknowledgment coming from someone who has been part of the industry and given back to back hits in the 60’s and 70’s.”

Deepika, who has been seen in films like Happy  New Year and Chennai Express, continues to earn praises from her directors, co-stars and industry people at large.
