This Is Why Lata Mangeshkar's Family Is Miffed With Karan Johar!

Karan Johar is on a high point in his life right now, not just personally but also professionally. In his personal space, he is enjoying fatherhood with his twins Yash and Roohi. In fact, he has also reconciled with his friend Kajol. Professionally, his production house will come up with some of the biggest projects. Right now he has been all over the news for Lust Stories, an anthology of short films in which Karan directed one segment.

But looks like all is not well for Karan. The director, who is right no in Bangkok for the IIFA Awards, has disappointed some people. And we are talking about Lata Mangeshkar's family.

Apparently, Lata Mangeshkar's song from Karan Johar Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham was used at a crucial point in Lust Stories where Kiara Advani's character is pleasuring herself. According to DC, the usage of this song at a masturbation scene has miffed the Mangeshkars. In fact, one of the members has also reportedly said, 

“Why did Karan Johar use Lata Didi’s immortal song in such an embarrassing situation? I still remember how ecstatic Karan was when Didi had recorded the song for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He said it was a dream come true. Why turn the dream song into a nightmare now?”

The title track for K3G was originally a family song that was turned upside down in Lust Stories.
