    Will Censor Board listen to Kashyap’s plea for ‘Bombay Velvet’???


    'Bombay Velvet’ director Anurag Kashyap is now all set to approach the review committee of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after his movie being granted an ‘A’ certificate by the board. Kashyap says he has decided to approach the Revising Committee as he does not consider the period drama an ‘adult film’.



    While talking to reporters, he said, “I will be sending the film to the Revising Committee. I have faith in them… It’s not an adult film,”.He told media that the CBFC has suggested three to four cuts for ‘Bombay Velvet’.Kashyap is hopeful of timely and right certification of his film.

      


    ‘Bombay Velvet’ is a crime drama set in the 1960s featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in key roles, and co-produced by Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane of Phantom Films, along with Fox Star Studios. The film is slated to release on May 15.
