Will Ek Paheli Leela, Dharam Sankat Mein and Broken Horses be enough to stop Furious 7 rage?

Will Ek Paheli Leela, Dharam Sankat Mein and Broken Horses be enough to stop Furious 7 rage?

This week for the box office has been filled with pace and drama. While on one hand, there was Detective Byomkesh Bakshy that put all its effort to slowly attract audiences towards itself, there was Furious 7 with full speed on the other. With as many as three films lined up for release tomorrow, let’s see if there comes a different trend to the ticket counters.

The first of the lot is Sunny Leone starrer Ek Paheli Leela, that perhaps seems to be getting the highest audience occupancy. With fair amount of popular music, Sunny Leone brand and an interesting take on reincarnation, the film has most elements to take gauge of the viewers and make most out of it. Sunny’s previous outings like Jism 2 and Ragini MMS 2 have experienced the same fate and Leela may again bank on the same pattern.

On the other hand, there are two different prospects in waiting that are both very different in terms of level, appeal, genre and almost everything. While Dharam Sankat Mein is a desi styled satire on religion with veteran actors, Broken Horses is an international English film directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It is absolutely certain that Broken Horses has a restricted appeal and will only work at urban centres, but Dharam Sankat Mein can be expected to twist a magic if the reviews come out in favour of the film.

Will Ek Paheli Leela, Dharam Sankat Mein and Broken Horses be enough to stop Furious 7 rage?

The most important question here would be, that while all three releases will hope to work best, will they be enough to counter the amazing run that Furious 7 has been enjoying. Sushant Singh Rajput’s detective experiment hasn’t gone down the way he would have liked, but the Hollywood biggie is breaking records. Let’s see if there are chances to see numbers turning up and down tomorrow.
